The increasing number of automakers that have dipped their fingers in the augmented reality experience bucket have clearly found a new way to catch the attention of their prospective customers.In promoting the 2011 Scion tC, Scion via ATTIK, San Francisco has thought of a way to get people behind the wheel of a tC through their new interactive game called âTake on the Machineâ.The game consists of driving a virtual tC with a virtual steering wheel with the objective being to avoid all of the obstacles throughout the city to achieve the fastest possible time. Itâs a little tricky in the beginning, especially because of how the steering wheel works, but once you get the hang of it, it becomes a heck of a lot of fun to do, especially if you can play it for shots with your friends.If youâre not into the whole hi-tech virtual steering wheel mode, thereâs an option to play the game using your computerâs keyboard. Not as fun as the former, but definitely less complicated.
