Sony Ericsson: Graffiti Projections MTV Awards

Brief: Sony Ericsson was one of the main sponsors of the MTV EuropeMusicAwards 2007. A really spectacular designed campaign was required. Objectives: For several nights before the EMAs, we projected films onto over 50 Munich landmarks. These films showed a graffiti artist spraying huge works of art. And branding them with the MTV and the Sony Ericsson logos! The Bavarian Prime Minister's office, Victory Gate, Pinakothek, police stations, the Olympic tower were «sprayed» this way for the first time. Filming was done in HD quality in front of a black backdrop! That way the picture was absolutely sharp and the usual bright «picture frame» was missing. The result was so convincing that some passers-by actually alarmed the police. Goals: The result was so convincing that some passers-by actually alarmed the police.
