Script in English

SFX:Hiss of static.

SFX:Street noises, laughter, shouting, music in the distance.

MVO1:oy, let's kick this one in

MVO2:Here’s Steve, twenty-three years old. Whilst walking home from a night on the lash with his mates, he decides to show off by smashing up a bus shelter. Luckily for him, his conscience comes into play…

SFX:music

MVO3: Alright stop! Now before you use your foot to break the law, sending glass shattering all across the floor… you better think of the consequences.

MVO1:But who are you?

MVO3&4:We’re your conscience.

MVO4:That’s nonsense! What better way to show you’re a man. Smash the glass, let’s all have a laugh. You’ve had the drink, now it’s time to do something crazy and take this whole thing straight to the brink.

MVO3:Yeah but the last thing you need after all that drink is to wake up in the cell or with your face in the sink. So don’t break the law, you know the score, just take that safe path back straight to your front door.

SFX:Hiss of static.

MVO1:This has been a public service announcement by Think Safe Drink Safe. Click

Brief Explanation

The ads are a pastiche on the Eminem track called 'Guilty Conscience'. Two rap artists were sourced to be close in style to Eminem and Ice Cube (who play the bad and good conscience in the original song),
