Script in English
KID: Tobacco companies make a product that kills about 440,000 Americans a year. That’s more than illegal narcotics, AIDS, suicide, gun violence, fires and automobile accidents and motorcycle accidents, and accidental drowning, hurricanes, tornadoes, blizzards, avalanches, floods, earthquakes, mudslides, landslides, plummeting meteors, skydiving mishaps, falls involving bathtubs, chairs and/or ladders, knife fights, judo chops, axe murderers, chainsaw murderers, or any other kind of murder, shark attacks, bears attacks, vicious pit bull attacks, rattlesnake bites, tarantula bites, hornet, wasp and/or bee stings, rabies, getting zapped by electrical wires, exposure to radioactive nuclear waste, exposure to the Ebola Virus, exposure to mad cow disease, food poisoning, bolts of lightning and Bigfoot.
So, just to recap: tobacco companies are allowed to make and sell a product that kills more Americans each year than all those things, combined.
