He would go tightrope walking on neighbourhood walls, juggle oranges at traffic light crossings, and play clown trying to dodge his mother’s slaps when he got home. It was then that little Beto started his own circus. He began with a Canadian type tent, and with time he had his own deluxe model for six people. In his circus, Beto sells the tickets, he is the master of ceremonies, he is a clown, plays the smoking monkey, plays the Public Health inspector who penalizes the monkey for smoking, he is the bearded woman, plays the elephant, the ant and puts his head inside the lion’s mouth. The really amazing thing is that he also plays
the lion. Che , poor Carreteiro, right? Isn’t it time someone gives him a hand?

MVO:Radio. Beto Carreteiro Desde chiquito a Beto Carreteiro se le notaba su vocación por las artes circenses. Así es que Beto, hacía de equilibrista por los muros del barrio, hacía de malabarista en los semáforos, y al llegar a casa hacía de payaso, tratando de esquivar los bifes (bofetadas) que le tiraba su madre. Entonces, Betito, montó su propio circo. Empezó con una canadiense (tipo de carpa) y con el tiempo pasó a un iglú (tipo de carpa) para 6 pesonas. En su circo, el Beto vende las localidades, es el presentador, es el payaso, es el mono que fuma, es el inspector de Salud Pública que multa al mono por fumar, es la mujer barbuda, hace de elefante, de hormiga y mete la cabeza en la boca de un león. Lo increíble es que él es el león.
Che, pobre Carreteiro ¿no? Es hora de que alguien le de una mano.
