MVO: She had always been shy, ever since she was a little girl. Incredibly shy, in fact, in contrast to her rather flamboyant features.

Then one day, she fell in love with a shy young man, who worked at the same office. Shy versus shy. Mutually repelling, like magnetic poles, for eternity. The pair continued to shy away, despite a budding interest.

She tried to imagine, the scent of his hair. Though sometimes mesmerised, the best she could manage was to lean over his head, at times, pretending to ask about some supposedly missing reports. But that wasn’t enough to make out that scent. He would tense up, and scoot his chair away from where she hovered.

She realised that this was going nowhere. So she decided to write a love letter. A love letter penned within the mirror, on her own face.

She used a foundation that brought a brilliant lustre to her skin.
One day, an eye shadow that instilled a sense of sadness in her eyes.
And her lipstick brush was nothing short of eloquent. With a skilful hand, she portrayed lips yearning to speak.

The magnetic force was born. The man felt mutually attracted. At last, the woman came to know the true scent of his hair.

Beauty – lasting a moment, lasting a lifetime.
