Script in English

SFX: Newsroom stinger music.

Newsreader (stinger): Tonight at 7 – “Meltdown Madness”: the Nuclear Power Plant that hired an unqualified supervisor who took home radio-active material and denied he was asleep at the controls – claiming instead that he was drunk. And “Thanks for the Mammaries”: The story of a woman who went in for lyposuction to look more attractive to her over-weight husband - and the hospital who accidentally gave her breast implants.

(The Simpsons theme music): The Simpsons…

VO: ...Still every week night at 7. Now on SKY 1.
Brief Explanation

New Zealand is in the grip of a TV channel war for a share of the 7 PM Current Affairs slot. With the country quickly tiring of all the hype, we took the opportunity to spoof the major channels, offering New Zealanders an alternative current affairs show playing in the same time slot – “The Simpsons” on SKY 1.
