Nando's Peri-Peri Chicken Restaurant.
Brief Explanation
Alarmist media hype in Pakistan surrounding the bird-flu caused widespread panic among people who stopped eating chicken.
Nando's Pakistan sources its chickens from poultry farms that are hygienically safe. This needed to be communicated to Nando's customers to prompt them back into the restaurant.
The agency prepared a rough cut for presentation which, because of the spiralling situation, was aired as is. Ironically, it was the radio spot's rough, spontaneous nature that helped it create an instant buzz and actually attract back Nando's clients who had stayed away from the restaurant due to the bird-flu fear.
