Script in English

MVO: Hello? Anyone? Can you hear me?

SFX: Tapping on glass.

MVO: I’m on the wall here. Trapped inside the frame. Hanging here, next to Kim’s license to do nails.

Oh boy. How long have I been here? I think since the early 90s. Even before acrylic tips and contractible nail fungus. Just stuck inside this frame, gasping for what little acetone filled air I can get. And for what? All because I’m Miss Kimmy’s first dollar ever earned?

For the love of cleverly named nail polish. There’s got to be something better than this. If I ever bust out of here, and make my way through that maze of weathered tabloids, and into your hands, please do something more with me than stick me up next to posters of kitties who hang in there. I’m guessing there’s got to be more to life than observing the rise and fall of shade #798-Tickle My Pinkies. Please.

SFX: Music

MVO: That was me. A worthless dollar. Before I became part of the Tap Project. Just one dollar can give forty children in need clean water for a day.

So give your dollar the destiny it deserves. Go to tapproject.org to donate online or find a participating restaurant.
