Script in English
SFX: Door opening. Hangers being pushed around. Humming.
FVO: Yoohoo! Pea coat, pick the pea coat!
SFX: Door slamming.
FVO: Fashion is killing me. Is this coat ever coming back in style? I mean for four years now I’ve waited for someone to reach into this pocket and find me. Just a treasure laying in wait. A dollar, lost and forgotten. No more valuable that the faded pharmacy receipt and cinnamon gum wrapper I share this space with. Have I not more to give than this? I’m the tenant of a coat pocket with a lease that never ends.
Global warming? Yeah. Not just for polar bears anymore - I’m stuffed in a jacket made of wool in south Florida. I’m practically extinct. Please. Save me. You who has hands to search with, reach into this pea coat, and help me fulfil my duty. I was born to be more than this.
SFX: Music
FVO: That was me, a lost dollar, before the Tap Project saved me. Just one dollar can give forty children in need clean water for a day.
