FVO: Goodday.

MVO: Hello. May I please speak to Althea Timm?

FVO: It’s Althea speaking.

MVO: My name is Tolerance Maseko from the Department of Name Changes and Reconciliation.

FVO: Yes.

MVO: Ma’am as you know names are being changed across the country, like Pretoria is now Tswane. Well the Department have decided to change your surname. So from now on
you’ll be known as Althea Nonkululekho Timm.

FVO: No! I wasn’t born like that!

MVO: Pretoria wasn’t born like that either. And it’s now Tswane.

FVO: You can change Pretoria but you’re not gonna change me. Tomorrow you’re gonna tell me I’m married!

SFX: Laughter.

ANN: It takes time getting used to a new name. Lemon Twist is now Twist Lemon. The same great taste just a new name. Twist Lemon. Put a twist in it!

Brief Explanation
The brief was to make consumers aware that Lemon Twist and Schweppes Sparkling Granadilla had changed their names to Twist Lemon and Twist Granadilla. None of the people we called were aware that the conversation was being recorded.
