Script in English
FELIX: I’m Felix of Blunk’s World Famous Deli. McDonald’s has gone too far with their line of
freshly made deli sandwiches with toasted buns. I’m coming back at them with something that
kids love – a rap. (Aside) Ian! Lay me a beat.
FELIX RAPS: MY NAME IS BLUNK
MY SANDWICHES AIN’T JUNK
GONNA WRAP UP MCDONALD’S
AND THROW THEM IN THE TRUNK
‘CAUSE THAT’S WHAT AN ELEPHANT’S NOSE IS CALLED
…SO YEAH….
FELIX Take that Justin Timberland!
ANNCR: New Oven Selects Deli Sandwiches.
SFX: (Ba da ba ba ba.)
SFX (SONG): (I’m lovin’ it.)
Brief Explanation
Felix Blunk is a New York deli owner who hears that McDonald’s is introducing their own deli-style
sandwiches. His response is to fight back. Like most New Yorkers, Felix is passionate in his quest
and he speaks in his own New York style of English. He muddles his words, mixes his metaphors
and loses his logic. However, his belief in himself, and his drive to beat McDonald’s at their own
game, comes through loud and clear.
