Various: (Short clips edited together to create the following message) Recycling can change the world. With a little creative thinking you can turn your rubbish into resources.
Take this radio ad. By cutting together old ads we can create something new and unique, all at no cost.
The world’s first recycled radio ad.
Come to the Design Indaba, Expo, Cape Town International Convention Centre 23 to 26 Feb and find out what else creativity can do.
Design Indaba. A better world through creativity.
Brief Explanation
We were briefed to encourage visitors to the Design Indaba expo, an annual design exhibition, which runs concurrently with the Design indaba conference. Instead of simply recording a conventional radio ad, we applied the principles of recycling and edited an ad together from well-known, existing radio spots without having to set foot into a recording booth. These enabled us to dramatise our core campaign thought: the power of creativity. In this instance, a little creativity is able to turn old, discarded radio spots into a completely new creative ad.
