Script in English
MVO: Science tells us your thumbnail grows slowest; while your middle nail grows the fastest.
Perhaps this is the origin of giving 'the middle finger', a primitive gesture meaning 'don't make me come over there and gouge you with my enormous fingernail'.
Conversely, to give a 'thumbs-up' meant 'I like you, as evidenced by this display of my tiny, non-threatening thumbnail'.
Or, maybe we're all just copying Fonzie.
(Fonzie impression) Aaaaaaeeeee!
Science World. We can explain.
