Script in English

SFX: jingle

MVO1: Welcome to Heinz Busters, the program where we investigate if the Heinz Ketchup
myths around the world are true.

SFX:The jingle fades and we hear the sound of telephone buttons that are pressed.

MVO1: Today we stay in Denmark.

SFX:A telephone signal.

FVO:Hello, it's the royal telegraf.

MVO2: Yes hello, my name is Erik Laurevig, is there someone I can speak to regarding
Denmark’s national flag, Dannebro?

FVO: Um, That would be the royal lifeguard. Just a moment.

MVO2: mm hmm

SFX: Military tattoo music while the reporter waits to be transferred.

MVO3: It’s the royal guard, hello.

MVO2: Yes, hello Royal guard. This is Eric Laurevig. I was forwarded to you because, can you
answer is it true that Dannebro was created when King Christian was about to loose a battle
and wanted to ride through the battlefield with a white flag

MVO3: Yeah?

MVO2: And then he couldn’t find one, instead he took the table cloth where he and the
generals had been eating, I think German sausages or something like that, with Heinz tomato
ketchup, so the table cloth looked more red than white. And that apparently should have
emphasised rage and battle fury of the soldiers to victoriously chase the enemy from the
battlefield.

MVO3: Pass.

MVO2:You want to pass on this one, then?

MVO3: Yes.

SFX:The jingle starts

MVO1:tune in next time for the pursuit of the Heinz Ketchup myths

Script in Orginal Language

MVO1:I dag bliver vi i Danmark.

SFX:En telefon ringer.

MVO3: Pas

MVO2: Så der melder du pas

MVO3: Ja

SFX:Jingeln börjar

MVO1: Jagten på Heinz Tomat Kethup myterne forsætter

Brief Explanation

The ads are based on real life prank calls, only edited to fit the 60 second format. We called the
Danish royal castle and ask about the history of "Dannebrogen" - the danish flag. The real
background story every “Dane” is thought in kindergarten. (The flag is Godsent). Here a real royal
palace guard, seems to not even have the faintest clue about the history of the flag.
