Script in English
MALE ANNCR: It seems that a new catch phrase is sweeping the nation. Now when referring to things of amazing speed, it’s best to use the term 'quick as a biscuit'. As in 'Bob, I need the Davidson report typed and on my desk, quick as a biscuit'. Or, 'Martha, bring my inhaler, quick as a biscuit'.
Why?
Because now you can make biscuits in just 25 seconds. Pillsbury Microwave Biscuits are ready so fast, everyone's talking. Now you try!
WOMAN: There’s no traffic so I’ll be home quick as a biscuit.
ANNCR: Nice.
GUY: Wow, that cheetah runs quick as a biscuit.
ANNCR: Excellent.
WOMAN 2: (very poetically) As the sun faded extra quick biscuitly from the evening sky, he was gone - quick as a biscuit, quick as an extra quick biscuit.
MALE ANNCR: Very good. From now on, 'quick as a biscuit' will replace 'speedy', 'zippy', 'snappy', and 'two shakes of a lambs tail'.
