MVO: It’s a grey day just like today when the grumpy neighbour says “hey” and I say that must be
a sign, for the son of a bitch never treated me that fine. I take the usual itinerary driving along the cemetery and then through main street until the traffic stops. You see there was a bunch of cops stopping everyone, asking for id’s, trying to make a buck, what the fuck. I take the next right trying to escape the jam but, damn! The street was one way and not mine, but it would be fine if there was not a car going the opposite direction and that was the start of all the action. We both step on the brakes and the whole thing takes no more than a glimpse. I start to swear and step out of the car but not so far she does the same. What a shame, yes, she was a she, and a beautiful one and before I was done she says it’s your fault not mine, hey aren’t you Bob? I’m Caroline. Caroline? Yes, Caroline. Not cousin Caroline for that wouldn’t be so fine. Gorgeous Caroline from music class that one day, in the middle of Porgy and Bess said hey, this is a pain in the ass, wanna step out for a beer? But I never did. I say how about that beer now, she says I don’t know I’m kind of busy, I say that’s easy just look at that bar there’s no way to pass there’s icy-cold Kaiser by the glass, and that moment the whole thing looked just like a happy-ending beer ad only lacking the voice of my dad saying "drink responsibly."

MVO: Até então era só uma manhã pintada de cinza não fosse o síndico ranzinza me dando
bom dia, coisa que ele não fazia, era uma sinal e eu não sabia.

Segui o caminho usual pela avenida central, mas tinha um pessoal tapando um buraco, que saco! Trânsito parado, encrencado, que vida pentelha, foi quando me deu na telha de virar a esquerda, era contramão, ela vinha eu não vi, ela viu, o cachorro latiu, o povo na rua sentiu a quase batida.

Saí do carro puto da vida, xingando, gritando, arrotando certeza, mas quando vi aquela beleza era a Bia, não, não, a Bia Garcia, nem a Bia fria, nem aquela Bia amiga da minha tia, era a Bia que sorria na aula de filosofia e dizia:

Um dia a gente podia sair para tomar uma cerveja.
Ora veja, eu disse, o que é a vida. Vai ver que hoje é o dia.
Ela disse: hoje eu to meio corrida.
Eu disse: Peraí... olha ali, tem uma bar, tem Kaiser gelada, tem mesa na calçada, tem dia
melhor pra fazer coisa errada?

Parecia até aquele comercial de televisão, aquele do Kaiser Viva, não viu não? Só faltava entrar o sujeito e dizer...Saboreie com Moderação.
