FVO: First, man was a monkey.

MVO: You’re a monkey yourself!

FVO: Later they could prove their masculinity as gladiators in an arena.

SFX: Full arena – lion kills man

ARENA: Beer on the house! Beer on the house!

FVO: After that every man wanted to be a knight.

MVO: All right love, would you like to see my sword?

SFX: Punch on his metal visor

FVO: And then they all wanted to be aristocratic landlords

SFX: Music

MVO: Ok tonight we’re organising a Miss Wet Corset contest again. Do your best, the Pope will be there too.

FVO: Later, they could prove themselves by fighting in the world wars.

MVO: Ok guys, The Resistance against the Collaborators. And we’re playing with rush goalies.


FVO: In the 60s, they had an obedient housewife.

MVO: Honey, this is Cindy and she’s staying for dinner this evening.

VO: Later konden ze hun mannelijkheid bewijzen als gladiator in de arena.

SFX: Volle arena – leeuw doodt man

ARENA: (zingt) Een vat een vat een vat ...

VO: Daarna wou iedere man een ridder zijn.

MAN: Hey, edelpoepeke, wilde gij mijn zwaard is zien...

SFX: Slag op zijn metalen bakkes

VO: Daarna wilden ze een aristocratische landheer zijn.

SFX: Clavecimbel

MAN: Ok vanavond is het weer miss wet corset contest. Doe uw best, de paus komt ook.

VO: Vervolgend hebben ze zich kunnen bewijzen in de wereldoorlogen.

MAN: Ok mannen, het verzet tegen de collaborateurs. En we spelen met vliegende keepers.

VO: In de jaren 60 hadden ze een brave huisvrouw.
