Now I know that our long hours of research at the university, the bitter arguments at the
Geographical Society, the countless failed expeditions, have not been in vain. Because
today, in the deepest heart of the jungle, I found the place I’ve been looking for all my life.
I parked my Mitsubishi Montero next to the falls and plunged into their limpid waters. And
today, at 74 years of age, I can finally prove that there is a fountain of eternal youth.
