The Arctic tern flies every year more than 40,000 miles from its nesting site in the Arctic to its summer grounds in the Antarctic and back again. With this enormous flight performance the Arctic tern contributes to the conservation of its species. If we fly 40,000 miles per year, it’s just enough to get a plastic card with which we can proudly call ourselves a 'frequent flyer’. And that - as we know - doesn’t pay off at all. Except, if you trade in all your miles for a set of three dress hangers.

The Arctic tern is better than us.

Sie fliegt jedes Jahr mehr als 40.000 Meilen von ihren Nistplätzen in der Arktis zu ihrem Sommerquartier in die Antarktis und zurück. Mit dieser enormen Flugleistung sorgt die Küstenseeschwalbe für die Erhaltung ihrer Art. Wenn wir im Jahr 40.000 Meilen fliegen, reicht es gerade mal für eine Plastikkarte mit der man sich voller Stolz 'Frequent-Traveller' nennen darf. Und davon hat man bekanntermaßen gar nichts - es sein denn, man löst die Meilen ein. Gegen ein 3-teiliges Garderobenbügel-Set.
