Script in English
MVO1: Charles Becker, your company supplies equestrian clothing and equipment.
MVO2: Yeah, I used to be a jockey myself, and now I run an online store - it’s quite a small market.
MVO1: Ah very funny...that's good.
MVO2: What?
MVO1: Ahem…nothing. Now research says that 80% of listeners have visited a website after hearing about it on the radio. Were you happy with the results of your radio campaign?
MVO2: Definitely.
MVO1: Right.
MVO2: I started off with a short burst -
MVO1: (Stifling laughter)
MVO2: And that was a bit of a stretch for me.
MVO1: (Laughing)
MVO2: But when our traffic hit new heights, we went for a longer campaign to extended our reach...and now we’re dwarfing last years figures.
MVO1: So you’d recommend radio advertising?
MVO2: Yeah yeah - I’m a huge fan.
MVO1: Radio and online, they just click. To find out more, go to commercialradio.com.au.
I'm so sorry. Do you have a drink?
MVO2: Oh..I've got a stubbie.
MVO1: (Laughing)
Brief Explanation
This is part of an on-going image building campaign on behalf of Commercial Radio Australia, which promotes advertising on radio. In this ad we speak to a former jockey, who has used radio successfully to promote his on-line store.
A 'stubbie' is Australian slang for a small bottle of beer.
