MVO:There has been conspiracy theories on the number 197 spreading around the Internet for some months now. Amongst the several theories is this one. Let’s take the wedding year of prince charles and lady diana spencer:1981. Take the first three numbers of 198 and subtract one and you're left with 197…or consider this, the number 197 is one of the prime numbers. It is in fact the 45th prime number. Keeping that in mind, in the year 1945 the first atomic bomb was tested in the desert of New Mexico under the secret project name, “Trinity”. To be exact…on the 16th of July, which so happens to be the...197th day of the year. Now things get really weird…. Surprisingly and possibly the most convincing theory is that the film “Titanic” received “1” Oscar in the year “97”. Put these two numbers together and what do you have? ... 197. Is this coincidence? And, what other strange theories are behind this extraordinary number?

MVO:Seit einigen Monaten werden im Internet wiederholt geheimnisvolle Theorien um die Zahl 197 verbreitet. Betrachten wir beispielsweise einmal genauer die jahreszahl der hochzeit von prinz charles und lady diana: 1981. Subtrahiert man von den ersten drei Ziffern, der 198, die letzte Ziffer, nämlich die 1, so ist das Ergebnis... 197...und an anderer stelle heisst es:Die 197 steht in der Reihe aller Primzahlen an 45ster Stelle. Dabei fällt auf, dass just im Jahre 45 in der Wüste von New Mexiko unter dem Decknamen "Trinity" die erste Atombombe der Welt getestet wurde. Und zwar exakt an einem 16. Juli - dem... 197. Tag des Jahres. Am erstaunlichsten jedoch ist vielleicht die Tatsache, dass ausgerechnet der Film Titanic in der Kategorie "bester Film" 1 Oskar im Jahre ´97 erhielt. "1" ... "97"... hundertsiebenundneunzig! Zufall? Oder was sonst steckt hinter dieser bemerkenswerten Zahl?
