VO: Leopoldo Lugones, may he rest in peace. He was born June 13, 1874, in Córdoba. A
dashing bespectacled lad, postal worker, director of the National Council of Education, an
anarchist set against the social and political establishment of his day, defender of the
intellectual aristocracy of art, a supporter of the candidacy of Quintana, writer, painter, preacher, ideologist, poet, ornithologist, controversial forerunner, he sang in praise of science and egalitarianism. He died on February 18th, 1938, in Tigre.

Bizarro muchachon de anteojos, empelado de correos, inspector de enseñanza media, integra el grupo de asaltos rebeldes contra el orden social y político, proclamador de la aristocracia intelectual del arte y de la lucha por la idea, apoya la candidatura de Quintana, escritor, pintor, predicador, ideólogo, poeta, ornitólogo, polemista y tremendo precursor, canta a la ciencia y a la igualdad. Muere del 18 de Febrero de 1938 en el Tigre.
