John Q wrote in this week to say that his wife had shaved her beaver. He wants to know if he should be pleased.
John Q, beavers are not legal in this country. And for good reason. Getting close to one can take a lot of patience and skill. Even though your wife seems to have experience with beavers, I see absolutely no reason why she should have shaved it, unless of course, it’s overheating. But my best advice, Johnny, would be to ask your wife to get a permit for her beaver. Shaved or not. If that doesn’t go down well, give her a Savanna. It’s dry. But she can drink it.
