SFX: Waves, seagulls, people yelling

MVO: Okay where’s the prop for the lead actress?

FVO: Here.

MVO: What’s this thing on the back?

FVO: It’s a leash.

MVO: Get rid of it, its going to mess up my shot.

FVO: But it ties the board…

MVO: I said lose it, and what this shit?

FVO: It’s wax.

MVO: Who said to put fucking wax on it, clean that off. And get one with less of these keels on it.

SFX: Music

ANN: Hollywood don’t surf. For the real thing check out wavescape.co.za and find out when to
catch the world’s most authentic surf movies at a theatre, or beach near you. Presented by FNB with GQ and The Cape Times.

Brief Explanation

A leash connects the surfer to the surfboard - without it surfer will have to swim to get it back after
every wave. Wax keeps the surfer on the board. The "keels" are the fins that help the surfboard go in the right direction.
