All magazines received an electronic board with specific components and a chip from Tim, who stored the information of registered persons. Thus, each 'like' resulting in a publication in the timeline of the person who interacted with the ad. All consumers who did register on Facebook received at home an exclusive copy of the magazine, with custom made printed ad. The Ad had two buttons "like", one for each look. To choose and push the button for the favorite look, a light illuminated indicating the vote counted. Besides that, all "likes" were sent to a display that was in the Morumbi Shopping store, showing the most liked outfit. Famous for featuring all the latest music news. In Brazil, music fans are all searching for new songs on Soundcloud. This fact made Soundcloud the perfect environment for promoting the brand. But how could we advertise in a place without media? Our idea to solve this problem was to develop a way of advertising on the sound waves of the songs as Soundcloud presents them. A completely new form of media. Promotion Development We transformed the sound waves of the song tracks presented on Soundcloud into a completely new form of media. To this end, we designed a font that could be read on the waves. We created a design with the sound waves letter by letter and composed a soundtrack for each letter. With this alphabet, we wrote an ad for NME and put it right before songs by Brazil’s main Indie bands. Results Brazil’s most important Indie bands took part in the initiative. Every time someone looks for a song by one of the bands on Soundcloud, they come across NME’s message. Every time the band promotes their song, they're promoting NME. Every time the track is embedded in another site, a free ad for NME is sent along with it. Relevancy to Product/Service When people decided to looking for music from their favorite bands we hooked them. At the waves that shape the sound of the music we wrote the initials of our magazine: NME. After that we compose a special soundtrack for each one of the letters of our alphabet. To do that, we wanted to create more than a simple advertising piece. We wanted to create something that could become part of the creatives routine. That`s how SoundScript was born. Execution Silence is a sound production company. SoundScript is an app designed to help creatives develop, present and approve radio scripts. With this app, we were able to become part of the creative process. Now, Silence not only produces the radio spots, but also help copywriters to create, present and approve them with clients. No other sound production company has this kind of relationship with their clients, the agencies. Thanks to SoundScript, Silence does. Outcome By launching SoundScript, Silence was able to get even closer to some of the most important agencies in Brazil, creating a new form of relationship with their creative teams. SoundScript became part of their routine, stimulating creativity in radio, making their presentations better and the approving process easier. With SoundScript, creatives can create their radio spots, without relying on their client’s imagination. And in return, we too got to hear a very pleasant sound: our phones ringing. A lot. In hot spots and Internet Cafes, due to the way the computers are laid out - side by side – those who need to use the web to check emails, online banking, their social networks or even search for something more personal, end up having no privacy. Thinking about how hard it was for those people to have privacy, Terra – one of the world’s main digital media companies. – once again innovates and launches the V.I.P. project in the Paraisopolis slums in São Paulo – Protected View of the Internet. The action that was backed by DDB Brasil promotes the “democratization of privacy”: a new way to access the Internet in public spaces. Terra installed specially adapted computers in Paraisopolis’ centers, so no one but the user could see what was on the computer screen By removing a film from the LCD screens, the computers featured a 100% white screen and its contents could only be seen when the user put on special goggles made of the same material as that of the film. “Terra wanted to deliver the best Internet experience to all users, regardless of where they would access it from, and privacy is certainly part of the experience. Accessing bank transactions, searching for private information or solving confidential problems without hassle may seem trivial for those who have free access to the web. But doing all that without privacy is very hard. That’s why we designed this project for the users of community centers, so that they could explore the best the Internet has to offer with complete freedom” comment by Terra’s CEO Roni Cunha Bueno For the initiative the company donated and installed ten machines, in addition to the goggles, in five community centers that, today, rely on more than 400 registered users and an average of 5 thousand monthly accesses.
