Breast cancer is a serious subject, and as an editor, you work with the clay you’re given. Mark’s (Pellington) footage was in a different league as far as emotional energy was concerned. Call me a sadist, but I want to make people cry if it does some good. And you can’t show “hope” in :30 unless you also show despair.
