Fern Britton is to appear in her first TV campaign for slimming brand Ryvita since admitting she had a "gastric band" operation that helped her lose weight.
Ryvita's TV campaign, which breaks tomorrow night, features Britton firing a starter's gun on a race between the Ryvita Limbos snack and allegedly more unhealthy regular crisp products.
The "snack pack race" inevitably sees the low-fat and low-calorie Ryvita product win.
Ryvita's £2m ad campaign, by agency Mortimer Whittaker O'Sullivan, is the first the presenter has appeared in for Ryvita since the company was forced to defend the relationship in June.
