'The Alibi' is about a man who would rather do anything than confess that he paid too much for his new glasses. It's based on the premise that with glasses from only £25 at Specsavers, you'd have to be pretty foolish to visit another optician. Set in a US-style police precinct the commercial is very filmic and continues very effectively the highly successful 'Should've gone to Specsavers' TV campaign.
