AdPrint Festival celebrates print communication and the role of the creative team behind a good execution. It is the only European advertising competition awarding the partnership behind great ideas.

The 2008 edition will be the fourth full European one, after five regional competitions. Since 2006, the Festival has given more importance to the role of the creative team, and that is reflected in the jury structure: creative teams judge creative teams, because the jury itself consists of teams instead of individuals. At the previous edition of the festival, some of the most important worldwide advertising representatives accepted to be members in the AdPrint Jury. This was formed by 14 creatives from Switzerland, Germany, France, Finland, Italy, Spain, UK and The Netherlands. They enjoyed the opportunity to get in touch with the Romanian advertising industry and agreed that the festival would be an interesting experience for creatives from all over Europe.

At AdPrint, it’s all about print – the most demanding and the most difficult exercise because it needs a great idea. “The” Idea. It has to convince at first sight. More synthesis is demanded than in any other media. That’s why it is the discipline of intelligence and creativity: only the best works survive, and their creators are awarded at AdPrint. It’s the only chance to get an AdPrint Angel – the trophy of the festival. The AdPrint Angel is neither the Cupid, nor an Archangel.
