Since its creation in 2001, the Méribel Ad Festival unites the professionals of the advertising world: the principal agencies, clients, producers, directors, media, survey companies, TV producers … in a series of rich and convivial exchanges.

Since 2004 the Festival has opened up to Europe with an increasing number of participants and visitors. Nearly 950 delegates are expected in 2007 with a large number of clients (160). In 6 years, the Festival has become the event "not-to-be-missed" for the communication world at the end of the year.
The ambition of the Festival is to promote European advertising creativity, to display an exhaustive panorama by means of a far-reaching competition, and is graced each year by Donald Gunn.
The competitions in December close the creative year and announce the broad tendencies of the coming international prizes. The « Cristal » reward the year's best creations for the different media, and are awarded by a mixed international jury made up of agencies and clients.
The Festival accords an important place to exchanges and networking during the Cristal-Lab (formerly Advertising and Marketing Forum). This is the moment to get a good overview of the latest trends and developments in the industry, and is a meeting place for the biggest European and international specialists.
