The viewer experiences as if at first hand the composer’s intense emotional life: the creative highs and lows, the writer’s block, the germination of an idea, its rejection, the spark of new inspiration. From the first glimmers of creation all the way to the full-on conflagration of a true stroke of genius, we follow a musical idea unfolding in the composer’s mind. Until finally it bursts forth into a musical and visual inferno – and a closing tag line: “The fire is alight. Our artists 2008/09“.
