These :30 spots are part of Mr. Sub’s new “Bad Choices” advertising campaign, which launched nation-wide in Canada, and will air during the Euro 2008 games and targeted comedy, sports and reality television shows. The campaign was created by zig, an ideas company based in Toronto and Chicago that is part of the MDC Partners network. The ads were designed to primarily target males, ages 18 – 34, and re-establish Mr. Sub’s commitment to the key attributes that sub eaters demand – bread baked fresh daily, an assortment of meats and fresh toppings, and a variety of combination choices – in a fun and irreverent way. This idea comes to life through characters who have clearly made bad choices in their life, as seen by the scenarios they are in, but who speak about why Mr. Sub is never a bad choice.Executive Creative Director: Martin Beauvais
