Plaza director Allan Moore’s most recent spot for the Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society, features a stylised giant whale appealing to the Whale Research Institute in downtown Tokyo, peacefully asking them to “Please stop Whaling”. Working within the confines of Japanese cultural protocol the spot targets Japanese kids as advocates for change in the whaling/fishing practices of Japan. Says Moore: “I wanted to utilise the stylised cuteness that appeals to the young Japanese, presenting whales with the kindness and intelligence that all marine mammals are renowned for.”
