Description of Ambient execution
In the past few years VW has developed different security devices to minimize risks during accidents on routes. One of them is the “No Sleep Sensor”, that tells you to stop when you are tired. Despite this, many people don’t stop at route hotels when they take long drives; because generally they are not good places, they lack the basic commodities, they are dirty and are not taken care of. That’s why we came up with the Volkswagen Suite. We took some rooms in different route hotels and improved them with new beds, clean towels, free Wi-Fi, a mini-bar and lots of comfort. We also designed doors with special locks that open only using a Volkswagen key. The final message of the action was that sometimes the most careful way to drive is not driving and stopping to rest.
