Synopsis:
Australia’s La Trobe university believes in bold thinking with a conscience, and as sponsors of the National Gallery of Victoria’s David Hockney exhibition, they needed an activation that would unite this philosophy with Hockney’s artworks.The mission: Create a bold, non-traditional activity that would celebrate Hockney’s works, while also demonstrating the university’s innovative and future focused thinking. With objectives of promoting the university and specific courses, and growing a database of prospective students, the creative solution needed to be both relevant and engaging. It had to belong and feel a part of the gallery space, yet be disruptive enough to demand attention.
