Describe the brief from the client
Take over the new political Alerj moment to create the book ‘Tiradentes Palace, Faithful to Democracy’, in order to characterise, with transparency, not only the new events but also its historical-political past.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
To create a new book that, in spite of being dense and long, would transmit the feelings of lightness, of democratic values, of a place open for the population, of closeness with the people.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Thus, to appreciate the ‘Tiradentes Palace, Faithful to Democracy’ book more, and its historical-political positioning, we placed the pack in a ballot box format, enveloped in acrylic, and closed with hinges. We also created a bookmark resembling voting papers that represents the power and the importance of polling in the achievement of democracy in our country’s pathway. The choice of material was to offer up the idea of the transparency of the democratic room of the Palace.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The outcome couldn’t have worked better. We were sure that the report would generate the desired impact, but perhaps we could not guess the acceptance and the admiration, of everybody who have received one, would be so high.
Thanks to the different designs, the pack with the book has become a decorative item on the shelf of many political offices in the country. Together, with the acrylic transparency, we immediately shocked the ones who received it. They soon realised it was political material, manifesting the democratic character of the Palace.
