Describe the brief from the client
To announce the 2011 Alliance Francaise French Film Festival. A Festival running across seven states and three hundred cinemas and organised annually by the Alliance Francaise to promote French culture in Australia.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
To appeal to a broader audience while instantly identifying the nationality of the festival.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
We created a campaign that captured the drama of cinema and subtly integrated the colours of the French flag, to instantly identify the festivals country of origin. The subtle, graphic approach was in-keeping with the restraint and overall elegant aesthetic of French Cinema.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
In 2010 the festival attracted more than 98,000 attendees.
In 2011 the festival saw a 30% increase in attendance.
