Describe the challenges and key objectives
To reach the target’s profile range, our challenge was to present different visual language styles. Popular and naïf culture visuals combined with sophisticated, organised and controlled visual information. All at the same time. We want to demonstrate the festival evolution and maturity. To achieve that a hard cover book was decided to be produced.

Describe the brief from the client
Multiplicidade is one of the most acclaimed audiovisual festivals in Brazil. Sponsored by the cultural branch of a national telecommunications company, the event intends to bring – without any kind of discrimination – technology performance and digital art for all society levels. In its non-conventional format, the proposal is to offer to the spectator original and unusual multimedia experiences. To create a graphic project to document the 4th year of the festival. The design should be unusual, special and unique, characteristics defined for the festival branding. The communication is directed to a very heterogenic public, consisting of intellectual and trendsetters to teenagers from the poorest urban areas.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The use of experimental printing techniques and our commitment to innovation and unusualness provides the impact necessary to assure and strengthen the image of the event.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The development of exclusives typographic families reinforces originality and generates consistency of the overall visual quality.
