Describe the challenges and key objectives
Every visitor of a concert feels the special emotions that are awoken by a Stradivarius. But for the personal invitation, these feelings had to be visualized and illustrated. The challenge was to create a picture that shows the connection between music and emotion.

Describe the brief from the client
The Stradivariuses of the Nippon Music Foundation, one of the most important collections of stringed instruments in the world, were made available for an extraordinary fundraising concert held in the Helmut List Hall in Graz, Austria. The sound of a Stradivarius rises and awakens special emotions. It touches the senses. It makes the listener feel a rush of happiness during a concert. These emotions should be illustrated for the personal invitation with high aesthetics and artistic standards. A connection between music and emotion must be made visible.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
EMOTIONAL GOOSEBUMPS By choosing photographs of goosebumps, the connection between music and emotion was made visible. The heads of musical notes were applied on the fine hair of the skin to emphasise the connection between music and emotion.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The "goosebump pictures" got a very positive response. The concert itself was sold out and a complete success.
