Describe the brief from the client
Brainstorm Shop is a course run in conjunction with Miami Ad School/ESPM, São Paulo, where participants are taught to practise effective brainstorming methods, based on design thinking processes.

How to promote the course amongst the creative community in order to get participants to enrol onto the course?

Describe the challenges and key objectives
We needed to get the audience - creative people in general, eg. everyone from a student, planners, writers, to entrepreneurs, businesses owners - to get interested in the course.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
To promote the course amongst people in the creative community, we created a poster alongside social media efforts. To promote the course, we believed in the power of a well-crafted poster, something that people would first touch and then hang it on their walls. An artist was asked to give her view about the thinking behind the course, which we then printed it in a poster format.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The course was fully booked after the poster had been sent out to nearly 300 potential participants. The interaction on the Facebook fan page started to increase significantly, with hundreds of positive comments about the poster and the course.
