Describe the brief from the client
Founded in 1911, The Executives’ Club of Chicago is one of the nation’s oldest and most prestigious business organizations comprised of over forty CEOs, senior executives, and leaders from top companies and institutions in Chicago. The Executives' Club of Chicago came to Energy BBDO with an unique challenge: Refresh the identity and branding materials to better reflect the organization's core values and reinforce their position as a respected resource for global thought leadership within the Chicago community.

The challenge was to leverage the brand's historical presence and respect within the community, while breathing new life and modernity into the overall look.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
After much research into the history of the brand and their establishment in the community, a new, more modern approach was taken. The identity possesses a simplified, sophisticated strength that firmly roots the EC in the modern day. It not only emphasizes the core values of The Executives’ Club of Chicago but also further reinforces the EC as one of the leading business forums for thought leadership, education, and best business practices.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The Executive's Club of Chicago's response to the updated identity was exceptional! It has provided them with an overall fresh look and brand image to continue in their quest to be known as and respected for their on-going role in the business community at large.
