Describe the brief from the client
With the Warmbronn Scriptures, the Christian-Wagner-Society has been publishing about the poet Christian Wagner for 20 years. The Scriptures deal with the broader issues about his work and his influence in modern times. They also serve the preservation and distribution of his literary work. The editions 21 till 24 form the prelude of the newly designed book series.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
The personal, historical and current aspects of Wagner’s work are portrayed in an unconventional manner. The progressive and modern ideas have been transformed in the composition of the book.
A sophisticated typography, creating orientation, guides through the issue. The dust jacket will vary according to the content of the publication in design and material, while the head of the book establishes the character of the series.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Title: a luminous Italian flag as a folded poster with the travel route of Wagner's trips to Italy; a fleeting envelope with hand-written addresses of the correspondence; a 2-layer map of houses of 2 centuries; a translucent portrait.
Book typography: a travel diary (expressive, illustrative poems, inserted postcards); an exchange of letters; a typographic dialogue; a book in the book (Village Chronicle); a rebel contradicts.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The Warmbronn Scriptures are appreciated in the press for its outstanding face. The series were enthusiastically recognised especially in the literary and local scene. Since winning awards, the creative scene became aware of the scriptures.
