Describe the brief from the client
MARKA Brand Conference is Turkey’s marketing red carpet event with speakers such as Christian Louboutin, Stefan Sagmeister and Richard Branson. We are the advertising agency of the event and one of its sponsors. Our objective was to promote our agency and display our work in order to interact with brand managers who participate at the event.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
Our main objective was to interact with brand managers who attended the event, while promoting our agency and displaying our work.

Compared to spacious, fancy and shiny exhibition stands of the big sponsors, we only had a 1.5 sq ft. area to achieve our goal.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
We decided to physically bring the energy of our working environment and craftsmanship to the show. So we built our agency in mini-scale, with the utmost attention to detail. The mini-agency included everything that is found in the real agency; the awards, coffee cups, computers, magazines, even the small post-it notes. Our latest work looped in small displays within the model.

Most importantly, we hired hamsters and released them into our bite-size office to represent us, and do the job.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
It created word-of-mouth during and after the event, being one of the most visited stands at the event. The mini agency became a great communication starter. We got the chance to have direct contact with more than 100 blue chip brand managers, and landed 3 new clients later.
