Describe the brief from the client
It’s a familiar story. Deloitte staff are snowed under with back-to-back meetings and calls. There just isn’t enough time to get through them all, but the meetings are too important to cut.

We all wish for more hours in the day, but it’s impossible. Isn’t it?

Describe how you arrived at the final design
TimeSaver is a revolutionary application that buys people back their most valued commodity: time. Every hour-long meeting is changed into a maximum 45 minutes, with participants able to bank the saved time. This saved time can be exchanged for personal use. Time to answer e-mails, go to the gym, time to do all the those things that are impossible to squeeze in.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market

In its initial pilot scheme, 50 participants saved 900 minutes in under 2 weeks, which saw the Timesaver application green lit to be rolled out across 140 countries worldwide, available to a 182,000 strong workforce.

As a conservative estimate, Deloitte people are now saving 1m minutes of time every month. Time to achieve the healthy work/life balance that has always been out of their grasp.
