Describe the challenges and key objectives
The key challenge was to find an interesting and design oriented way to discuss the recession. Key objective was to approach the task hand in hand with the Design District Helsinki values: humour and design.

Describe the brief from the client
Design District Helsinki is a neighborhood and a state of mind. It is an area full of design and antique shops, fashion stores, museums, art galleries, restaurants and showrooms. Our brief was to promote the design district and encourage people to buy design in the middle of the recession.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The recession hit hard. No one was having fun anymore. To rally them in joining the fight against recession and to make them smile we created a sad yet humoristic design icons and encouraged people to put their hope in good design.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The goals were achieved: Design District Helsinki is more full of life than ever.
