Describe the brief from the client
The client was looking for the cheapest poetic way to approach potential investors, donors and actors to promote this new film called ‘White Tune Fishing’, an intimate personal drama soon to be shot in the pacific coast of Colombia.
They needed not only the visual identity of the project but also a creative piece to break the ice, open doors and be a topic of conversation within the Latin and Spanish film industry.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
1. To sell a low budget project with no budget at all. We had only the name of the project, 100% creative freedom and no money.
2. To reflect the poetic mood of the story without falling on the cliché of a Latin American drama of pain and tears.
3. To be as homemade and creative as possible so as to have our own personality and seduce selective audiences.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The ethical dilemmas shown on the story are literally a mess of values. These conflicts are reflected metaphorically by using a variety of elements such as tangled fishing lines, fish hooks, old can openers, fishnets, tuna cans and food plastic bags. Each piece was mounted manually and printed on recycled paper with local digital services. Due to low budget issues, we bought stock pictures.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
This piece has already created a buzz in the local and international film industry and has already obtained the support of these organisations: Trust for the Americas (OEA, USA), IBERMEDIA (Spain), FIA: Foundation for Audio-visual Research (Spain) and Aqua Foundation (Colombia).
