Describe the brief from the client
We need to produce a logo for Display Insight UK, our client (big Public Displays & Projectors Brand) described the idea as:

" The Display Insight community will power innovation by bringing together strategic partnerships to provide the display solutions that business demands, with unparalleled access to products, expertise and support " Interactive Touch, Digital Out Of Home, Augmented Reality, Video, Conferencing, 3D Display, Video Wall, Control Room, IPT..."

Describe the challenges and key objectives

We needed to provide the customer with a recognisable identity that is iconic, utilizes strong colours, and not very technical looking.

Describe how you arrived at the final design

Key Point: we had been usually working with this Big Brand marketing department to provide them an innovative and fresh design with a different approaching.

We worked first on line drawing, needed to be simple but also strong in his context, D and I, capital conforming a nice solid shape.
Influence: Bauhaus Design / - "Program in cultural European studies " 1923, Poster lolamaringalvin.files.wordpress.com/2007/05/bauhaus.jpg
Then we thought about the colour inside the logo. We needed a gradient in a very expressive colour, with a red and blue touch to avoid too much simplicity on it.

The DI brand was not public in a first stage, but promoted between more than 30 target partners and resellers. Then in a second stage was promoted on the web and in brochures, the third stage will be completely public.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
Now almost all the brand partners of this big company are happy to promote the idea and participate as active elements through the web. In the first meetings, the idea was presented and now they are collaborating in all the web content to launch the site.
