Describe the brief from the client
Approximately 10,000 business reports are published in Germany every year. Yet, does anyone read these reports? “No” says DocCheck AG. And if they are read, readers certainly do not take much time.
Against this backdrop, DocCheck AG in cooperation with its subsidiary, the agency antwerpes, made a virtue out of necessity and used the business report to boost the company’s image.

Describe the challenges and key objectives
The aim was to design a medium to present the company with all its subsidiaries, in such a convincing manner that it can be used as an instrument for customer acquisition. To this end, we put the main focus on the company’s services and its 20th anniversary.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
The wisdom and maturity gained in 20 years of experience in the field of pharmaceutical marketing give cause for the presentation of the 2009 financial figures in an appropriate setting – without showing them in an unfavourable light. Living an eccentric life in the world of advertising and the web for twenty years leaves traces – and these traces led DocCheck and antwerpes to a retirement home.

Give some indication of how successful the outcome was in the market
The annual report 2009 met with great response and excelled at an exceptional recognition value. It was discussed controversially and caused a stir among the readers.
