Describe the challenges and key objectives
The challenge was to create a low budget invitation to be printed in two days, that used a sustainable approach. That could cause great impact to differentiate itself from the other fashion Show Rooms invitations that were happening at the same time in Rio de Janeiro. It was also an intention to create another use for the invitation, considering its functionality.

Describe the brief from the client

Rio de Janeiro is recovering its status of Brazilian Capital of Fashion, with international brands opening flagships, events of global audience, as well as launchings of new brands with strong creative profile in the market. Therefore it was necessary to create and produce in short term an invitation for the Show Room Alto Verão Carioca, which the target was multibrands fashion buyers from all over the world.

Describe how you arrived at the final design
Knowing that the fashion professionals have the habit of using magazines as visual reference, the project was developed with the concept of a functional-invitation. It also generated a brand experience for its folding. The invitation could be used as page markers, each one with a sketch of a collection piece, giving visibility and promoting the participant brands. The attribution of a new function to the invitation also evidenced the concern to be a sustainable piece, not one more invitation to be thrown away.

The great number of visitants at the event evidenced the piece success.
